An ice bar in the Misiones jungle

It was inaugurated in January of this year to 17 kilometers of the Iguazú Falls. For drinks in the main room, air-conditioned at 10 degrees below zero, customers are provided with thermal gloves and a thick jacket to enjoy a bar and nightlife in Iguazu Falls.
A striking piece was added this year to the sites of interest surrounding the Iguazu Falls, in Misiones. In the midst of the magnificent natural setting of the jungle, an ice bar proposes drinking and chatting in the atmosphere of 10 degrees below zero that prevails in the hall, a remarkable contrast to the subtropical climate of the region. This different experience is lived 17 kilometers from the Falls and 3 kilometers from the center of Puerto Iguazú.
Everything is made of ice in Icebar, from the walls to the ceiling, the floor, the bar, the furniture and the sculptures that represent the native fauna of the region of Iguazu Falls. For that, more than 10 tons of frozen water was used.
In this kind of giant freezer, the public has the possibility to taste author drinks with the “free tap” system for half an hour, prepared with vodka, whiskey and rum. They also have the possibility to taste fernet with cola and soft drinks. To serve all the specialties of the house, 300 small glasses of ice are made each day. Those that are not used, at the end of each day are discarded or offered as a souvenir free to customers.

Glasses of ice in the curious bar of the missionary jungle.
Those responsible for Icebar were very aware from the outset that people are approaching after having to endure the high temperatures that usually occur in Misiones. Many times, the thermometer marks 30 degrees or more in the shade. Therefore, they preferred to receive their customers in a space designed for acclimatization: the Warm Bar, where the room temperature prevails and you can make the “previous” through the tasting of a sandwich of Milanese and a “gaucho” steak with Onion, bacon, egg and potato chips. The staggered welcome continues in the locker room, the place for an informative talk at 20 degrees, which precedes the delivery of thermal gloves and a well-sheltered jacket. The last previous scale is in a room heated to 8 degrees of temperature.

In the Icebar you can enjoy the Warm Bar and the Snack Bar before entering the Icebar or we will also wait for you independently from the Icebar you can come to eat and enjoy our menu.
Very well located the Warm Bar and the Snack Bar are surrounded by a beautiful garden. A warm atmosphere, where you can enjoy our warm attention and our gastronomy. At night you can feel an atmosphere full of emotion when enjoying musical shows that make the Warm Bar and the Snack Bar a place to return again and again to have a good time.
